"Tree Registry" Project: Expanding Green Spaces and Enhancing Urban Ecology in Tashkent

As part of the national "Yashil Makon" initiative and the "Uzbekistan–2030" strategy, launched under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, in collaboration with the "Zamin" International Public Foundation, is actively implementing the "Tree Registry" project.

This project is designed to conduct a comprehensive inventory of trees across Tashkent, systematically expand green spaces, and enhance the city's ecological resilience. By mapping and monitoring the existing urban greenery, the initiative aims to preserve biodiversity, improve air quality, and create a more sustainable urban environment.

Furthermore, the "Tree Registry" project plays a crucial role in promoting environmental awareness and responsible urban planning. Through data-driven strategies and community engagement, this initiative seeks to foster a greener, healthier, and more livable city for future generations.
