BSc (Hons) Environmental and Sustainable Management
The BSc (Hons) in Environmental and Sustainable Management aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage environmental resources and programs in businesses, government, and nonprofit organizations.
The objectives of the program are:
• Provide an interdisciplinary foundation in environmental science, policy, and management to understand the interconnected nature of sustainability challenges.
• Develop competencies in systems thinking, environmental assessment methods, and implementation of sustainability solutions.
• Teach strategies and best practices for responsible management of energy, water, land use, materials, and waste.
• Build expertise in environmental law, economics, and policy to improve compliance and sustainable outcomes.
• Foster leadership abilities to engage stakeholders, lead teams, and manage change towards sustainability goals.
• Promote analytical and critical thinking skills to guide data-driven decision making and assess environmental impacts.
• Provide real-world learning opportunities through internships, case studies, and sustainability management projects.

BSc (Hons) Environment and Economics
The BSc (Hons) in Environment and Economics aims to provide students with an interdisciplinary understanding of the complex interactions between the environment, the economy, and human societies.

The objectives of the program are:
• Give students a strong foundation in both environmental sciences and economic theory, models, and tools.
• Develop analytical skills to study environmental issues and policies from an economic lens.
• Teach methods for valuing ecosystem services, assessing environmental costs and benefits, and designing market-based instruments.
• Provide understanding of how to integrate environmental considerations into economic systems and account for ecological impacts.
• Foster systems thinking skills to analyze sustainability challenges that intersect environmental, economic, and social dimensions.
• Build expertise in using economic insights and models to inform evidence-based environmental policy and management.
• Equip students with knowledge of environmental economics applied to issues like climate change, natural resource management, pollution control, and conservation.
• Prepare graduates for careers as environmental economists, sustainability analysts, policy researchers, consultants on green finance and investment, carbon analysts, and related roles.

BSc (Hons) Ecology and Public Administration
The BSc (Hons) in Ecology and Public Administration aims to provide students with an interdisciplinary foundation in ecological sciences and public administration to address environmental policy and management challenges.

The objectives of the program are:
• Build a strong science background in ecology, conservation biology, and environmental systems.
• Develop understanding of the public administration context including government bureaucracy, public policy, and organizational management.
• Gain knowledge at the intersection of science and policy - environmental regulations, natural resource management, land use planning.
• Apply ecological concepts to analyze and develop environmental policies, programs, and services.
• Build expertise in impact assessment, adaptive management, stakeholder engagement, and science communication.
• Foster critical thinking and leadership skills to lead teams and make decisions informed by ecological science.
• Prepare graduates for careers in environmental planning and policy, park/wildlife management, land use regulation, natural resource governance, and sustainability administration.
• Equip students to take on public sector roles where they can utilize ecological insights to craft evidence-based policies and administer programs for conservation outcomes.

The program aims to develop public servants who can draw on their scientific and administrative knowledge to serve the public interest on environmental issues.
