On 7 July 2026, Green University held a ceremony to present a Letter of Appreciation to Yusufkhon Maksumov, the father of Ulugbekkhon Maksumov, an Uzbek entrepreneur based in Dubai and the Founder and CEO of AKSUM Group, in recognition of his son's valuable contribution to enriching the University's library collection with academic publications.

During the ceremony, the Letter of Appreciation, issued on behalf of the Green University community, was formally presented to Yusufkhan Maksumov by Alisher Salomov, Adviser to the Chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Letter of Appreciation highly commended Ulugbekkhon Maksumov's valuable contribution to expanding the University's library collection with academic literature. It also highlighted that his commitment to knowledge, strong moral values, and sense of social responsibility are a reflection of the exemplary upbringing he received within his family. In this regard, sincere appreciation was expressed to Yusufkhon Maksumov for raising such an exemplary son.

The ceremony concluded with the recognition that initiatives aimed at supporting science and education, enriching university library collections, and fostering a culture of reading among young people play an important role in advancing intellectual development and promoting educational excellence.
