On 9 June 2026, Green University officially launched a pilot Training-of-Trainers (ToT) program in collaboration with the World Bank and Smart Eco consultancy.

The training is part of the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) initiative and focuses on strengthening national capacity in environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA), aligned with international best practices.

The training brought together 33 participants, including representatives of the State Environmental Expertise under the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change, the Center for Retraining and Professional Development, Green University faculty members, and practicing environmental specialists.

The training is conducted by international consultants specializing in environmental and social standards and covers key topics such as ESIA procedures, stakeholder engagement, grievance mechanisms, biodiversity considerations, cultural heritage, and climate-related aspects.

This initiative marks an important step in integrating the World Bank’s ESF standards into national education and professional training systems, as well as in strengthening Green University’s academic programs at bachelor’s, master’s, and certification levels.
