The third meeting of the international GREENDT project on Environmental Engineering was held at Green University.

From October 14 to 17, 2025, the Central Asian University for Environmental and Climate Studies (Green University) hosted the third project meeting and training seminar within the framework of the international GREENDT project — “Implementing Environmental Engineering Master Degrees through Sustainable Transition and Societal Change.”

The GREENDT project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program. It aims to develop and implement an innovative master’s program in Environmental Engineering focused on sustainable development and societal transformation, addressing the growing need for qualified specialists in environmental protection and climate initiatives.

The GREENDT project seeks to address Uzbekistan’s pressing environmental challenges by training highly skilled professionals, fostering international collaboration, and strengthening the institutional capacity of universities. Furthermore, the project contributes to the implementation of sustainable and efficient environmental practices at the national level.

The event brought together representatives from universities and research institutions from Europe and Uzbekistan. During the meeting, participants discussed the project’s achievements, outlined further steps for its implementation, and conducted training sessions aimed at enhancing the competencies of university faculty and staff in the field of environmental education.
