Strengthening International Collaboration: Meeting with Jürgen Keinhorst from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment

On March 12, 2025, our university had the honour of welcoming Jürgen Keinhorst, Head of the Department at the German Federal Ministry for the Environment.

During the meeting, fruitful discussions were held on potential collaboration opportunities with leading German and international institutions, including the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Siemens Energy, and the World Bank’s Mountains and Climate Change project. The discussions focused on advancing joint research initiatives, promoting knowledge exchange, and fostering innovation in environmental protection and climate change adaptation.

Furthermore, both parties emphasized the significance of strengthening and expanding cooperation with German institutions, particularly in sustainable development, renewable energy, and environmental policy. The meeting served as a crucial step toward building long-term partnerships that will contribute to addressing global environmental challenges through scientific and technological collaboration.
