Commander of the National Guard visits Green University to learn about its activities

On July 28, 2026, as part of the implementation of the tasks set by the Head of State to ensure public peace and security, a working group led by the Commander of the National Guard, Colonel General Bakhodir Tashmatov, visited the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University).


The Commander of the National Guard held a meeting with Alisher Salomov, Adviser to the Chairman of the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change, and Dr.Bakhtiyor Pulatov, Rector of Green University, where they discussed the university’s activities, as well as ongoing educational and research initiatives in the fields of ecology and climate change.


The delegation visited the university’s modern educational and research facilities, including laboratories and student facilities, and learned about ongoing educational and scientific projects in the fields of ecology and climate change. They were also briefed on free IT and English language courses organized by Green University for young people from local communities, as well as social initiatives aimed at developing modern knowledge and skills among youth.


During the visit, the parties also exchanged views on measures being implemented to ensure security on the university campus, maintain public order, and create a safe environment for students.
