On March 14, an exhibition dedicated to the works of renowned artist Dilorom Mamedova opened at the “ARTepa” Art Gallery. The exposition features 100 creative works by the artist.

The opening ceremony was attended by Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Environmental Issues and Chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change Aziz Abdukhakimov, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan Akiko Fujii, Member of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Vasila Fayziyeva, Dilorom Mamedova, recipient of the “Shuhrat” Medal, Rector of the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University) Baxtiyor Pulatov, as well as representatives of the arts community and young people.

During the event, speakers highlighted the role of art and culture in society, as well as the importance of artistic initiatives in promoting environmental awareness and culture. It was emphasized that the “ARTepa” Gallery aims not only to promote cultural heritage but also to popularize the ideas of environmental protection and sustainable development through art.

The exhibition presents works reflecting national traditions, human emotions, and the beauty of nature. The exposition gives particular prominence to creative works in the genres of realism, abstraction, and philosophical art.

At the conclusion of the exhibition opening, Dilorom Mamedova donated 100 of her artworks to Green University.

The exhibition will run for two months.
