Green University Students Participate in Environmental Clean-Up Initiative at Tashkent Botanical Garden
On November 18, students of Green University actively joined a large-scale environmental clean-up campaign held today at the Tashkent Botanical Garden. The initiative was organized with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan and brought together a wide range of partners and community members.
The clean-up event convened representatives of EU member state embassies, civic activists, environmental bloggers, youth organizations, and school students from across Tashkent, united by a shared commitment to environmental stewardship and urban sustainability.
Green University was represented by a team of 15 motivated students who took an active role in the clean-up activities. Their participation reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness, instill a culture of responsibility among young people, and contribute to improving the ecological well-being of the capital city.
The involvement of Green University in this initiative underscores its dedication to supporting national and international efforts in environmental protection, as well as its broader mission of preparing environmentally conscious leaders capable of addressing today’s sustainability challenges.
Green University expresses its appreciation to the EU Delegation to Uzbekistan and all partners for organizing this meaningful event and looks forward to continued collaboration in promoting ecological initiatives and youth engagement.
