Silk Road International Tourism University
A delegation of staff and students from the Silk Road International Tourism University visited the Green University. During the visit, the university’s research initiatives were explored, and discussions were held regarding potential cooperation in ecology and tourism.
Workshop
A seminar was held under the project "Assessing Potential for Circularity in Biodegradable Waste Management" in Tashkent and surrounding areas. Fruitful discussions were conducted with relevant ministries and key stakeholders, focusing on improving the management of biodegradable waste (BDW) and advancing opportunities for a circular economy.
Diplomatic World
Barbara Ditrich, the founder of Diplomatic World magazine, along with project manager Alberto Turkstra, visited the university. Insights into the university's environmental studies and climate change efforts were gained, and discussions were held on potential collaboration opportunities in the fields of ecology and sustainable development. A special article highlighting the university's activities was announced to be published in Diplomatic World magazine.
Akwa Power
A meeting was held with Alper Sezener, the regional director for Central Asia at Acwa Power. During the meeting, prospects for collaboration in renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and environmental protection were discussed.
