Green University Hosts the Ambassador of France

On October 8, 2025 Green University hosted an official visit by a delegation led by His Excellency Mr. Walid Fouque, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan.

Ambassador Walid Fouque emphasized the promising nature of the relationship between the French Embassy and Green University. He highlighted the availability of broad opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation across all levels and fields of education.

The Ambassador proposed the following areas for future collaboration:
1. Launch of academic programs for Green University students at leading French higher education institutions starting from September 2026;
2. Deployment of French experts to Green University;
3. Development of French language teaching programs and establishment of a French Language Center;
4. Joint initiatives in scientific research;
5. Provision of French-language academic and scientific literature;
6. Public-private and educational partnerships involving French companies and private sector representatives to initiate joint projects, internships, and job creation for students.

As a first practical step in advancing this collaboration, Ambassador Fouque proposed organizing an official visit of Green University’s senior leadership to France from November 10–20, 2025. The visit aims to establish direct communication and partnerships with French universities, research centers, and private sector stakeholders. Logistical and diplomatic support for the visit will be provided by the French Embassy in Tashkent.
