Green University Forges Partnership with ICBA to Advance Agricultural Research and Education

Green University recently welcomed esteemed guests from the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates. Our campus had the honor of hosting Dr. Tarifa Alzaabi, Director General of ICBA, Dr. Charbel Tarraf, Chief of Operations and Development at ICBA, and Mr. Mohamed Aldhaheri, Chargé D'Affairs from the UAE Embassy.Green University recently welcomed esteemed guests from the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates. This tour provided our guests with firsthand insight into our commitment to excellence in agricultural education and research.The highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Green University and ICBA. This significant agreement lays the foundation for a robust partnership aimed at advancing agricultural science and sustainable practices. The MoU encompasses several key areas of collaboration:
- Joint agricultural research and capacity-building programsInternship and fellowship opportunities for Green University students- Co-organization of events focused on research and development- Specialized programs to empower women in agriculture- Collaborative pursuit of project grants and consultancies- Establishment of an ICBA Youth Engagement Society (YES) chapter at Green University- Exchange of scientific materials and information
