Green University and “Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank” JSCB Launch Partnership for Sustainable Development
Green University – Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies and “Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank” JSCB have formalized a collaboration through a Memorandum of Cooperation. The partnership aims to combine academic expertise and banking experience to advance education, research, and sustainable initiatives.
Key focus areas of the partnership include:
• Promoting sustainable development, green economy, and environmentally responsible practices.
• Advancing knowledge and application of sustainable finance and ESG (environmental, social, governance) principles.
• Organizing joint events such as lectures, workshops, seminars, and master classes.
• Developing educational programs and modules on sustainable finance and climate-related topics.
• Supporting students’ academic research, theses, and practical projects.
• Providing internships and hands-on training opportunities in the banking and sustainability sectors.
• Implementing environmental and social projects, including energy-efficient and “green office” initiatives.
• Conducting joint research on renewable energy, climate risk management, sustainable urban development, and green finance.
• Sharing scientific publications, research results, and data between institutions.
This collaboration will also strengthen links between academia and the financial sector, nurture skilled professionals, and promote practice-oriented education aligned with global sustainability goals.
