An international scientific and practical conference was held at the Central Asian University for Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University).

The conference was organized by the Hydrometeorological Research Institute under the Central Asian University for Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University), along with a number of partner organizations, and was dedicated to the topic “Innovative methods of monitoring mountain glaciers in the context of climate change and current issues in glaciology.”

The event was attended by specialists, scientists, and young researchers from leading scientific centers in Europe and Asia, as well as international experts. Within the framework of the event, issues such as environmental problems arising in mountainous regions as a result of climate change, the reduction of glaciers, their impact on water resources, and the use of modern technologies in their monitoring were discussed in detail.

This conference was an important step towards the development of scientific cooperation and sustainable development for the benefit of future generations.
