Today, on 25 June 2026, master’s thesis defense sessions for graduates of the 2025/2026 academic year of the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University) were held at the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency.

As part of the Final State Attestation, master’s graduates presented the results of their research projects, which were evaluated by the State Attestation Commission based on established assessment criteria.

The thesis defense process was organized in accordance with the requirements of the current regulatory and legal framework of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of higher education. The presentations covered scientific research conducted in the areas of ecology, sustainable development, environmental protection, and green economy.

The State Attestation Commission included experts in ecology and climate change, representatives of research institutions, as well as professors and academic staff of the university.

This year, Green University master’s graduates defended their theses in the fields of “Sustainable Development”, “Environmental Law”, and “Sustainable Finance.”

The master’s thesis defense sessions marked an important milestone in preparing highly qualified specialists capable of developing science-based solutions for environmental sustainability, green transformation, and contemporary climate challenges.
