The final national seminar of the project on improving methane emissions inventories was held in Tashkent.

The event was organized jointly by Green University, the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC), and the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF).

The seminar focused on the integration of satellite data and national data for the identification and assessment of methane emissions, as well as on improving monitoring and reporting systems.

The event concluded with the identification of future areas of cooperation aimed at strengthening methane emissions monitoring and reduction efforts.
