“Today, the greatest opportunities and challenges in modern environmental research lie in a paradigm shift and the advancement of action-oriented science. The technological revolution, particularly artificial intelligence, is giving us "superpowers", while science itself is increasingly moving from the “ivory tower” toward a practice-oriented hub —one that directly serves urgent societal needs and is closely integrated with policy decision-making.

Serving Uzbekistan and Central Asia is our core mission. Uzbekistan is currently at a decisive stage of its ecological transition, and our university must function both as a scientific and analytical hub and as a technological engine for national and regional transformation.

To address these challenges, our university must focus on key priority areas, including green technologies, artificial intelligence, green industry, economics and finance, tourism, and green governance.”
