On September 7, Green University welcomed its new full-time Bachelor’s students for Orientation Week 2026.

The first day opened with a welcoming speech by Rector Dr. Bakhtiyor Pulatov, who spoke about the beginning of a new academic chapter for the students, their role in the Green University community, and the opportunities available to them throughout their studies.

First Vice-Rector Saidjakhon Khasanov delivered a speech introducing Green University. Vice-Rector Otabek Babajonov spoke about the opportunities available to students, and Shakhboz Akhmedov, Director of the Climate Residency Programme, also addressed the students.

The programme also featured presentations by Z. Alimov, Head of the Specialized Atmospheric Laboratory Centre; V. Rakhmatova, Head of the Education Process Organization Department; Associate Professor M. Bekchanov; and senior lecturers Octavio Calvo-Gomez, Aboali Golzary, Hossein Akhani, Firaz Halawani.     

Students were also introduced to the Student Handbook and joined their Bachelor’s group chat. The first day concluded with a guided campus tour, giving students the opportunity to explore Green University, become familiar with its facilities and get a closer look at their new academic environment.

The first day of Orientation Week marked the official beginning of a new academic journey for our students at Green University.
