More than 40 faculty members, students, and UNDP representatives participated in the event.
The workshop addressed the implementation of the BIOFIN Academic Module at the university, including assessment procedures, academic responsibilities, monitoring of the module’s effectiveness, and mechanisms for its sustainable implementation.
The 10 ECTS-credit module is based on the BIOFIN 2024 methodology and covers key areas including PIR, BER, FNA, and BFP.
As part of the event, an agreement was signed to support merit-based scholarships for the first cohort of students enrolled in the module with the support of UNDP. BIOFIN coursebooks were also handed over to the Green University Library.
The implementation of the BIOFIN Academic Module marks an important step towards preparing professionals with modern knowledge and skills in biodiversity finance.
