INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL AND CLIMATE DIALOGUE IN TASHKENT.

Tashkent hosted an international conference dedicated to World Cotton Day, as well as high-level international events focused on food security in landlocked developing countries (LLDCs).
The events brought together government representatives, international organizations, academic institutions, and private-sector stakeholders to discuss food security, the impacts of climate change on agriculture, efficient water resource management, modern agricultural technologies, and green innovations.
Uzbekistan’s experience in agricultural reforms, the wider adoption of water-saving technologies, and the digitalization of agriculture was also presented to international participants.
As part of the international dialogue, a technical session on “Combating Climate Change and Environmental Vulnerability” was held, bringing together global, regional, academic, and private-sector perspectives on climate resilience, environmental sustainability, and innovative solutions.
The events served as an important platform for advancing sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, food security, and international cooperation.
