Official Meeting Held at Green University on the Occasion of “Youth Day”

An official meeting between the Rector and students was held at Green University on the occasion of “Youth Day”.
In order to ensure the implementation of the priority tasks outlined during the dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with youth — dedicated to supporting their initiatives and creating additional opportunities — Green University is systematically undertaking a range of targeted measures.
In particular, on 26 February 2026, an open dialogue was organized at the University with the participation of the Rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Bakhtiyor Pulatov, and students. During the meeting, prospective plans aimed at improving conditions created for students, enhancing the quality of education, supporting research activities, encouraging startup and innovative projects, and promoting youth employment were discussed.
The event was also attended by Elyor Norpulatov, a representative of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who provided information on the priority directions of the state youth policy and the opportunities being created for young people. The parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation with the Agency and to develop joint programs for the effective implementation of state youth policy at the university level.
During the dialogue, proposals and initiatives put forward by students were carefully reviewed, and specific mechanisms were identified to support their practical implementation. Increasing young people’s social engagement, fostering patriotism and civic responsibility, and comprehensively supporting talented students were defined as priority objectives.
The Green University team reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the full and high-quality implementation of the tasks set by the Head of State, expanding opportunities for young people, and consistently supporting their initiatives.
