Green University Hosts Delegation from ACWA Power and the Energy and Water Academy (EWA), Saudi Arabia

Green University had the honor of welcoming a distinguished delegation from ACWA Power and the Energy and Water Academy (EWA) of Saudi Arabia. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in the field of green energy education and discussing joint initiatives aimed at developing human capital for a sustainable future.

The delegation was led by Mr. Thamer Al-Sharhan, Chairman of the Board of the Energy and Water Academy (EWA), and included:
• Mr. Abdulmajeed Azouz, EWA Training Manager and Director of the Shirin Energy College Transformation Project;
• Mr. G‘iyos Qurbonov, Social Projects Manager at ACWA Power Uzbekistan and Coordinator of the Shirin Energy College Transformation Project;
• Mr. G‘olib Xoljigitov, Director for Government Relations at ACWA Power Uzbekistan;
• Mr. Lochinbek Ergashev, Leader of the Teachers’ Team for the Shirin Energy College Transformation Project.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the potential for collaboration in training specialists in renewable energy, implementing educational transformation programs, and developing research partnerships. The delegation also expressed interest in exploring further cooperation with Green University in areas of innovation and green technology.

This meeting marked an important step toward advancing educational and industrial synergy between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia in pursuit of sustainable energy development.
