Green University Hosted the Young Researchers Forum
On March 4, the Young Researchers Forum was held at Green University. The event was organized to promote research findings grounded in historical sources, focusing on the preservation of natural resources, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, and the advancement of environmental culture among the wider public.
The forum was conducted in cooperation with the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan and the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It brought together professors, young scholars, researchers, and students specializing in environmental studies.
During the official opening ceremony, Abdushukur Khamzayev, Head of the Ecological Party faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chair of the Party’s Central Council Executive Committee, together with Professor Bakhtiyor Pulatov, Rector of Green University, emphasized the importance of supporting young researchers and strengthening environmental awareness.
The academic session featured presentations by Adham Ashirov, representative of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, who addressed historical heritage and environmental values; Associate Professor Komil Buxorov, who spoke on the historical foundations of healthy lifestyles and the institution of the family; and Zulayho Zarfullaeva, member of the Republican Council of Young Scientists, who highlighted scientific and practical mechanisms for fostering environmental culture among youth.
In the final session, ten young researchers presented their projects. The most outstanding works were recognized in the nominations “Best Research Paper,” “Best Environmental Initiative,” and “Most Relevant Historical Analysis.”
The forum served as an effective platform for academic exchange, encouraging young scholars’ research activities and reinforcing environmental responsibility.
