A presentation and discussion of the draft National Strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Rational Use of Water Resources and Environmental Protection for 2027–2050 was held at the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies (Green University).

The Strategy aims to ensure the country’s long-term environmental sustainability, promote the rational use of natural resources, strengthen environmental security, and establish priority objectives in the field of environmental protection.

The draft National Strategy was developed by a research team comprising professors, scholars, and international experts under the leadership of Academician Vladimir Kvint, Head of the Center for Strategic Studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
