On May 12, 2026, a meeting was held at Green University within the framework of the visit of a 10-member delegation led by Wang Jian, Dean of Harbin Institute of Technology.

The visit was dedicated to expanding international scientific and practical cooperation in the field of environmental sustainability and the development of a green economy in Uzbekistan. The parties also discussed opportunities for implementing advanced environmental technologies based on artificial intelligence (AI).

During the meeting, the participants explored potential cooperation in the areas of environmental monitoring, natural resource management, digitalization of industrial processes, resource-efficient technologies, and environmentally sustainable production.

In addition, discussions focused on organizing direct dialogue with representatives of government bodies, scientific institutions, and the private sector regarding investment promotion policies, green development strategies, and the digital transformation of industry.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Green University and Harbin Institute of Technology signed a memorandum of cooperation.
