To receive the study contract, applicants must submit the original copies of the following documents:

  • Application addressed to the Rector;
  • 2 copies of the passport (with permanent residence) or ID card (including the back side);
  • Green University application form;
  • 6 photos (size 3.5x4.5 cm);
  • Bachelor's diploma and transcript;
  • Original IELTS, TOEFL, or CEFR certificate (if available).

Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following documents in the required format during online registration:

  • Passport or ID card (including the registration page of the passport or the back side of the ID card) – PDF;
  • A 3.5x4.5 cm photo in JPEG format;
  • Bachelor's degree diploma and transcript – PDF;
  • Original IELTS, TOEFL, or CEFR certificate (if available) – PDF;
  • Essay on the given topic – Word, PDF.

They must take the university’s internal entrance exam, which includes Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking sections, similar to IELTS or CEFR formats. The exam covers topics related to the environment, ecology, climate change, and others.

They must write and upload a 500–700 word essay on one of the following topics:

  • “How do you assess the environmental issues in Central Asia?”
  • “How can you contribute to ensuring environmental sustainability in our country in the future?”

After submission, they will be invited for an interview.

With the Admission Committee's approval, the English language requirement can be waived if:

  • A degree is from an accredited institution in an English-speaking country and the entire program was delivered and assessed in English;
  • A degree is from an accredited institution in a non-English-speaking country, where the entire program was delivered and assessed in English (a confirmation letter indicating the language of instruction is required).

They must write and upload a 500–700 word essay on one of the following topics:

  • “How do you assess the environmental issues in Central Asia?”
  • “How can you contribute to ensuring environmental sustainability in our country in the future?”

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree equivalent to a UK bachelor's with a GPA of 2.5 or 2.2;
  • IELTS certificate with a score of 6.0 or higher;
    Or TOEFL certificate with at least PBT 500, CBT 171, IBT 61;
    Or CEFR (Multilevel test) level B2 or higher;
    Or successful completion of the university's entrance exam.

a) For citizens of Central Asian countries:

  • 25 full scholarships for bachelor's degree programs;
  • 20 full scholarships for master's and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs.

b) Grants will be awarded to:

  • Graduates of Presidential schools holding international program diplomas or certificates (e.g., International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement, International A-Levels);
  • Graduates of specialized technical colleges under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who score high on university entrance exams;
  • Children from families listed in the “Unified Social Protection Register,” provided they successfully pass the university entrance exam.

  • International Environmental Project Olympiad (INEPO)
  • International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO)
  • International Physics Olympiad (IPhO)
  • International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO)
  • International Biology Olympiad (IBO)
  • International Geography Olympiad (iGeO)
  • International Informatics Olympiad (IIO)
  • International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO)

c) The special Minister of Ecology Scholarship is also available, which includes one-year tuition fees and a monthly stipend for one academic year.



Note: Applications for scholarship programs must be submitted separately, and decisions will be made by the Green University Admissions Committee and the Minister of Ecology Scholarship Committee.
